And we've gotta say... we are so thankful for Richard William Rich. Richie has gone over and above our expectations producing and engineering this record with the level of hard work, thoughtfulness, creativity, and hours behind the scenes. Marrissa's vocals ring of desire for grace, passion, and change throughout the album. She grew a lot in the songwriting process: learning to become more vulnerable and honest.  It can be a truly scary feat to write collaboratively, while exposing our hearts - both the good and bad, but it is an enriching process. When we reach down into the broken parts of our souls, and are deeply honest about it with God and the people that are there to challenge and love us through it, change is catalyzed.

BEYOND EXCITED. Today we recorded the primary parts of our songs all together (minus drums) with their corresponding tempos. This makes it way easier for Eric to go in and lay down his drum tracks. Then we'll go in and all of our individual parts over top that. It was the beginning of a fun yet detailed process. Excited to finally start recording after an intensive writing season! P.S...Richie Rich is fantastic. Always a blast with that guy.
